Introduction to Ayurvedic Massage – 1 day
Ayurvedic massage is an essential part of Ayurvedic health philosophy. Within Ayurveda, massage is used not only for relaxation but also as a way to support the body's balance, flow, and recovery.
This one-day introduction will introduce you to various Ayurvedic massages in a practical and experiential way. You'll gain insight into the background, purpose, and effectiveness of these massage modalities and experience how oil, touch, and attention are applied within Ayurveda as part of a holistic approach to health. This introductory day will provide a solid foundation for further exploration of Ayurvedic bodywork.
During this training day of 6 hours Theory and practice are carefully interwoven. You'll learn both how to massage and how to receive it, so you'll understand not only how a massage is performed but also its effect on the body and mind.
