Moments of attention, tailored to the season

Every season leaves something behind in the body.
Sometimes you feel it as heaviness or sluggishness.
Sometimes as restlessness, tension, or fatigue.
In the Het Ayurveda Instituut offering in Winschoten (Groningen region), the rituals move in sync with this natural cycle. They support the body in letting go, softening, or building up—depending on what is needed.
On this page, you will find a changing selection of rituals that are temporarily available.
Carefully composed, executed with attention, and tailored to the moment.
An invitation to pause for a moment.
To feel what you need.

Cooling Ritual
Summer
A gentle and cooling ritual for warm days, a busy mind, and a body that longs for rest.
In the summer, the body often asks for something different than in other seasons. Less exertion, more slowing down. Less releasing tension, more recovery.
During this 90-minute ritual, we combine gentle touch, warmth, and cooling elements to bring the body and senses back into balance.
The treatment consists of:
• a quiet moment of arrival
• a relaxing oil treatment for the back and legs
• a cooling herbal wrap for the back and lower legs
• a soothing facial ritual with a mask
• a short rest and integration phase
A treatment that helps to release tension, soothe heat, and experience space again.
Suitable for the summer period or whenever you need relaxation, gentleness, and a moment for yourself.
Duration: 90 minutes
Available from June 1 to September 1, 2026
