Panchakarma – Ayurvedic cleansing, restoration and renewal

Personally guided cleansing cures for recovery, balance and new energy.

Panchakarma is the classic Ayurvedic cleansing treatment that supports body and mind in releasing accumulated burden. Within Ayurveda, Panchakarma is used for both preventive self-care and therapeutic recovery.

At Het Ayurveda Instituut, Panchakarma is offered in various forms — from a short Panchakarma reset to an in-depth, personally tailored program. Always small-scale, carefully guided, and tailored to your constitution and capacity.

What is Panchakarma?

Panchakarma literally means 'five actions' and refers to classic Ayurvedic therapies aimed at:

  • the disposal of waste materials (ama)
  • restoring digestion (Agni)
  • calming the nervous system
  • preparing the body for recovery and renewal (Rasayana)

A Panchakarma course always consists of cleansing and restoration. These phases are inextricably linked.

Are you wondering if a Panchakarma course is right for you?
